Design and Business Management Graduate

I studied in a British school where had the plesure to study art throughout the first 18 years of my life, it being also my hobbie. I also always had a passion for fashion, as well as music and travelling.

After finishing school, I decided to study Business Management at Queen Mary University of London. I was unsure about what I wanted to study in the realm of design, and I was sure Business was something I would always use in my day to day. I was also sure about wanting to go upbroad and discovering a cosmopolitan city like London, having previously met the city by participating in various design shortcourses at Central Saint Martins too.

Business taught me how to consider every option in the analysis of a variety of subjects, and to consider probable consequences the future might upbring when noticing big changes in the world. 

I scored a first-class grade in the degree, and very much enjoyed it, however my talent, curiosity and likeness for design was enough to make me want to continue studying and embark on this new degree in design.

I chose Elisava in Barcelona. What made me interested in Elisava was the fact that I could explore the various types of design before choosing a speciality. Following this trial, I grew fondness of spatial design, as it is the most intersing subject for me, it being the space that surrounds us on our daily basis, with the twist that it also involves each one’s personality and habit and makes an impact on how we live.

However, my university considers us all as designers, having allowed us to work with other specialities in transversal subjects, helping us learn and acquire new capabilities and perspectives in the realm.
